The hotel is part of a club that I was offered inducements to join. I prefer a hotel that makes the bed every day, provides fresh towels every day and tidys the room daily.

I chose it because it’s an apart-hotel, meaning that it should have some cooking facilities. Unfortunately, it has no hot plate or any kind of cooking surface, nothing but a microwave oven, which is very limited. This was a problem for me since I had a 6 night stay, and cannot eat out twice a day for so long. Otherwise, it was spacious, clean and quiet.

Listen, this place is cheap. The neighborhood is rough. I closed the curtains and I can still hear people rummaging around. Lots of folks on the street looking for stuff to survive. I get it, you’ve got to survive. Everyone deserves to live. But you should know what you’re getting into. I don’t mind it because I don’t mind chilling in my room watching TV. But it isn’t quiet or super safe for sure.
